The ultimate tool.... Joico K-pak Deep Reconstructor!!!

Now, anyone who has fried hair or thoroughly damaged your hair from overly heat styling, bleaching, rebonding, straightening, curling, and all other ways to chemically drain your hair from its core protein - keratin. When I bleached my hair, the reason it was just snapping and melting off was because there was literally no keratin left in it. Now, basic science of hair - our hair is made of keratin. So, without keratin, we have no hair or not much of it anyways.

This product is my ultimate favourite, and the most effective reconstructor ever! I have tried many - Paul Mitchell, Redken, etc. None worked as fast, effectively or as successfully as this. Its pricey but totally worth every penny! Trust me.

If you have really screwed your hair, just wash it gently using a very mild sulfate-free shampoo (shampoo's with sulfates will further distress your hair by draining out what's left of the keratin in your hair), or just use water and tea (green tea is best) to cleanse and wash off. Do not try to comb thru your hair, even if its with a wide tooth comb - your hair will rip child. And, do not ever think of conditioning with anything yet. Just slather on your hair a good amount of the reconstructor - not too much, but not too little either. Make sure to shake the bottle before using. Also, ensure that your entire hair strand from scalp to end is covered.

Now, if your hair was as bad as mine, as in totally damaged, leave it on overnight or for at least 6-8 hours before rinsing out. If you're repairing normal to mildly damaged hair, keep it on for about an hour or two tops. However, if you're just doing regular upkeep or maintenance, 15 - 30 mins is more than enough. Put on a shower cap or plastic bag and wait.

After waiting it out, rinse it off and now DEEP CONDITION! This reconstructor is powerful protein. Protein = drying. So, after use, make sure to deep condition. The longer you used the reconstructor, the more deeply you should condition afterwards.

How this worked for me? Absolutely brilliantly. After using it almost everyday for about a month, my hair resembled something like normal hair that's damaged at the normal rate. In a month people!

From nearly having to shave my head bald and wear a wig for 5 years to having reasonably damaged hair in one month in a Godsend miracle. I will recommend this to anyone who needs a good reconstructor. Even now, my hair is much better than before, I still use it every 2 weeks for upkeep.
